Oh! I have been remiss, and I apologize. On Friday, I promised to share photos of my lunch, and I never got around to doing it. Believe me, this has been nagging at me ever since. And since no one likes a nag (except for certain wimpy men who kind of, like, thrive on being bossed around by their harridan wives), I’m a-gonna show you that lunch right now.
However, I’m not going to make it easy for you. I know I really have no business being all coy now, given that I broke a promise and am late in fulfilling it, but I still want to have to make you sing for your supper. Or my lunch. So to that end, I am presenting photos of both my and Elaine’s lunches, over which we gabbed like two witty sitcom heroines at Curly’s Vegetarian Lunch on East 14th Street. (I suppose she would be Rhoda to my Mary. Ordinarily I like to consider myself the Rhoda, but in the case of me and Elaine, I think I have to cede the position.) It’s now up to you to guess which of us had which dish.
